My Ethos
Counselling is based on establishing a respectful, trusting, open connection between the counsellor and the client. I work really hard to create a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship, so you can be authentically you.
I am particularly passionate about providing queer and neuro-affirming counselling support, in an inclusive, non-judgemental space where you can explore your identity, gender and sexual diversity. I do not believe that people need to be "fixed". You are NOT broken.
My Counselling Style
My approach is integrative, holistic, person-centred and evidence-based.
I draw on evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness and values work.
I chose to call my practice On Your Wavelength, because that’s exactly where you need me to be - tuned in to you and your needs. I meet you where you are, I work at your pace and you lead the process.

My Services
Initial consultation/Intro chat
A relaxed, no-obligation chat to get to know each other. You can tell me a little about yourself and what brings you to counselling, and I’ll explain how I work and what I can offer. If it feels right to work together, we can make a plan. There’s no pressure to decide straight away.
30 mins | Free
Online session
A confidential, one-to-one space to explore whatever is on your mind. You can bring whatever feels important - whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, confused, or just want to make more sense of things. We’ll work together to understand what’s going on, explore what might help, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
How often we meet is up to you, although I generally recommend no more than once a week. This gives you time between sessions to reflect, process what we’ve talked about and try things out in real life.
60 mins | €90 (reduced rate €75)
In person / Walk & Talk
Sometimes it’s easier to talk when you’re moving rather than sitting still. Mental and physical health are closely connected, and walking outdoors is good both! We’ll agree a start and end point and walk together while we talk, weather permitting.
60 mins | €95 (reduced rate €80)
Online or telephone check in
A short phone or online check-in between sessions. This is a chance to touch base about anything important that’s come up, check in on progress, or talk through a significant event. It’s not a substitute for a full session - just a little extra support when you need it.
15 mins | €25 (reduced rate €18)
The counselling process from start to finish
In our first sessions, we will take some time to get to know each other. This is an essential part of counselling, as it’s when we build our connection and trust - creating a safe space together.
We'll agree how often we’ll meet and what we’ll focus on. This is flexible and we can change it at any time, according to what you need. As we work together, we’ll check in from time to time to review how things are going. I meet you where you are, work at your pace and respect your choices.
There is no set timescale for how long counselling lasts for, so we might work together for a few weeks, months or years, depending on what you need. You are free to end counselling at any time. Where possible, we'll discuss this together and you may choose to have a final session to reflect on our work and bring things to a close.
I may also recommend alternative or additional support if I feel your needs would be better met by a different or more specialist service.
